Jung, frisch und stylisch! So präsentieren sich nicht nur die Musiker der Goodbeats, so klingt auch ihre Musik!
Rock und Pop aus den aktuellen Charts, Eurodance-Hits aus den 90ern, Funk- und Soulklassiker der 70er und Latin-Hits und Rock’n’Roll-Klassiker aus den 50ern werden in reiner Rockbandbesetzung präsentiert: 2 Gitarren, Bass, Drums sowie Gesang auf Englisch, Deutsch und Spanisch reichen den vier Goodbeats. Auf Effekte, Einspieler oder Kostümierungen wird bewusst verzichtet.
Bei den Goodbeats geht es um pure, echte Livemusik, die ins Blut geht und die Tanzbeine zum Schwingen bringt.
Die Band besteht aus vier Vollblutmusikern, die u.a. auch in Varieteshows spielen und mit Acts wie Tim Benzko, der Reggae-Band Dreadnut Inc. oder Aufbau West tour(t)en. Frontmann Thilo Pohlschmidt steht bereits seit seinem 12. Lebensjahr mit Profimusikern auf der Bühne. Bereits als 13-jähriger teilte er sich eine Bühne mit dem „Hohepriester des Souls“ Ray Charles. Ein prägendes Erlebnis, das seine Begeisterung für die amerikanische Soul- und Funkmusik der 70er Jahre entfachte.
Die Goodbeats formierten sich im Jahr 2012. Seitdem haben sie über 200 Konzerte gespielt.
